Collection: Pickled Food

Pickling is a form of canning that relies on using an acidic brine like vinegar and salt to not only alter the flavor profile of a vegetable (or fruit) but also prevent bacterial growth. Depending on what you're pickling, you may be able to do a cold prep in the fridge, or you might use heat and/or a water bath to seal the product and make it shelf-stable. Our pickled products are all water-bathed.
